Financial Data Collection & Investment Research Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Data Collection & Investment Research Analyst to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career finance professionals who want to develop expertise in financial statement analysis, company valuation, and investment research.

You will work with publicly traded companies, analyzing financial filings and supporting the development of valuation models used by investors. The role offers hands-on training in financial analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation, and the use of advanced machine learning technology within the investment research process.

Salary up to USD 2,000 based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Review financial information from public company filings, including annual and quarterly reports Collect and validate financial data from income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Support the development and maintenance of valuation models for publicly traded companies Review Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) sections and financial statement footnotes to identify important business insights and non-obvious financial information Verify the accuracy of machine-generated financial data and research outputs Investigate discrepancies and resolve data quality issues Complete assigned daily and weekly research tasks within established deadlines Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows, processes, and data accuracy Participate in testing and quality assurance projects related to financial data and technology enhancements Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or current studies in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field Strong understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles Advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Experience in accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, financial analysis, FP&A, investment research, or data analysis Knowledge of valuation concepts such as DCF, financial ratios, or corporate finance nance.Experience working with large dat asets.Interest in investing, financial markets, or equ
