Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Curriculum Designer & Developer to join a fast-growing education-focused organization creating engaging learning experiences for K-12 students.

This is a highly AI-driven curriculum development role that combines educational expertise, creativity, project leadership, and technology. The ideal candidate has experience designing curriculum, lessons, educational content, or learning experiences for children and is passionate about leveraging AI to improve how educational content is created, refined, and delivered.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum development projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and actively incorporate advanced AI tools and workflows into the content creation process. We are looking for someone who embraces innovation, enjoys experimenting with new technologies, and views AI as a core part of their daily workflow rather than simply a supporting tool.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging curriculum, lessons, educational content, and learning experiences for K-12 learners
• Create learning objectives, instructional materials, assessments, and supporting educational resources
• Apply storytelling, age-appropriate learning strategies, and student engagement principles to curriculum development
• Lead curriculum and content development projects from planning through final delivery
• Collaborate with curriculum, content, product, design, and technical teams
• Leverage AI tools and workflows to improve content quality, efficiency, scalability, and personalization
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies relevant to curriculum design and educational content creation
• Help optimize and refine AI-assisted curriculum development processes
• Ensure educational content meets high standards of quality, accuracy, clarity, and learner engagement
• Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple projects

Must-Have Requirements

• Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in curriculum design, instructional design, education, learning experience design, or educational content development
• Experience developing curriculum, lessons, or educational materials for K-12 learners
• Experience leading curriculum, instructional design, or educational content projects
• Strong understanding of learning science, instructional design principles, and child-centered education
• Demonstrated experience incorporating AI into curriculum development or content creation workflows
• Experience using AI tools beyond basic prompting and content generation
• Strong project management, organization, and stakeholder communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Strong curiosity for emerging technologies and AI-driven innovation

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience in EdTech, curriculum publishing, or digital learning environments
• Experience developing educational books, workbooks, lesson plans, or classroom resources
• Experience creating social-emotional learning (SEL) or character development content
• Experience working with AI-powered content generation systems, agents, or automated workflows
• Experience collaborating with engineering, product, or technical teams
• Experience building scalable educational content production systems
